Follow-up Report
I have been in contact with Tenshin Sensei’s daughter, and at this point, his son will be handling visits and related matters, so there is no longer a need for me to act as a proxy.
He has his mobile phone with him, so we will communicate by phone going forward.
According to the results of a detailed examination, it was found that he has developed diabetes. He had been advised to be cautious about diabetes during his previous hospitalization and had been refraining from alcohol, but unfortunately, it seems that he still developed the condition. This diabetes appears to have further worsened his arrhythmia.
It has been determined that the arrhythmia is more serious than the pulmonary edema.
(In fact, the arrhythmia was the original cause.)
There is still no clear outlook for discharge, but we were told that his lungs are gradually recovering.
His condition will likely affect his ability to participate in training for a while, but for now, let us focus on hoping for his safe recovery and discharge.
